Mystery Stole 3

All of my time is being eaten up by Ravelry and the Mystery Stole.

It is very time consuming entering project details into Ravelry, but I'm beginning to do it faster now and at least there's something to show for it. But the Mystery Stole.....

I've never done a mystery stole before although this is the third one there's been and I'm looking forward to starting on Friday- or Saturday because I'll be staying with DD3 until then. It sounds lots of fun. You get the pattern in installments, one a week so until the end you don't know what the finished stole will look like. There is always a theme and all we know so far is that it will have beads and that it's particularly suited to white or black lace weight yarn . Needless to say I don't want to use either of these and of course it's not compulsory!! Other yarns are suggested as being in the spirit of the stole. I'm not sure I like these either... And this is what is taking the time. I just can't decide which yarn to use.

I've swatched on these two although I do have others...

They are Zephyr Jaggerspun, shade Peacock and Laceweight merino from The Yarnyard, shade Sable. If I use the Sable I will need different beads...

Oooh, difficult decision! I love the colour of the Peacock, but the Yarn Yard yarn is sheer bliss to knit with.

I love the peacock as well, although the beads are showing better on the other one. looking forward to seeing this. Hope it is lovely. I once did a mystery quilt( it is unfinished living in the cupboard because it was hideous!!)

That's definitely a difficult decision! I have to say Peacock though - it looks so beautiful!
