Spring Things Shawl

My Spring Things Shawl was finished in time for me to wear it last night and I know it looked really great and it felt lovely and floaty.
It's PoshYarns Tamara - a lace weight 50/50 Cashmere/Merino in colour "Plummy" (about 600yds) on 4.5mm needles and the pattern is here.

It blocked beautifully to 64" x 32".

Blowing in the wind

Silhouetted

And a close-up so you can see the nupps!

I know this is dark but it looks so dramatic doesn't it?
I make no excus for showing so many pictures. It's lovely isn't it?

The colours? All the photos are taken under different conditions and with more than one camera. No picture accurately shows this colourway but the closest is between the first two photos. I spent ages trying to get it more accurate and I could have tried to adjust it afterwards in Photoshop but I decided that would probably make things worse.

Gorgeous. Stunnig. Love it. I looked at this pattern a few weeks ago when Igot the FC pattern. I think yours look better than the original but that may be because yours is just the colour I'd pick myself. And I mean all the different colours depicted in the pics. LOL.

My gosh, this is ever so beautiful! What an awesome pattern - it must be one of the most delicate and unique ones that I've seen for long! Added to that the gorgeous colorway you've been using - yep, this is a piece of art indeed! Congratulations on such a great accomplishment!
