Happy Easter

It's been cold, wet and very windy for the first few days of our Easter holiday in France but Easter Sunday seems to have marked a change and today looks much more as if Spring is round the corner And we've heard the cuckoo - always the first sign!



These little bunny egg cosies are made from Little Cotton Rabbits pattern for a bunny egg cosy from Julie Williams and look how pretty they look here!

I shall start knitting in plenty of time next year instead of having to get up at the crack of dawn to finish just three. I'd planned to make them for all my young grandchildren but my two days g-children minding each week seemed to slow me down for all the whole week. I should have more free time now as Rachel is on maternity leave for a few months - yes baby Millie was born on 24th March, 6lbs110z, my tenth grandchild!!
