I used a 5mm hook and 700m (175gm) of NDS Precious (100% Silk ) 4ply colour Starlight.
I love the pattern - only two pattern rows to remember - and the yarn is a delight to use. And fast to make too - in first week of May 2011.
I think this little crochet scarf/shawl will fit in nicely here
Sonata Shawl by Sharon Silverman using a 3mm hook and NDS Angel 2ply Lace in Nov 2010. It's lovely and soft and I think I'd like the next one in a fine lace weight silk yarn.

Just had to say that those are really gorgeous... I wish I'd been more patient when my knitting group were trying to teach me to crochet. Sigh!
